Migrating a site from one CMS to another, or even just upgrading CMS versions, can be an intimidating process. ReadyMadeWeb makes this process less daunting by handling every part of the process, from redesign to restructuring of data.
When we migrated CEI.org from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7, we also developed a new designed based around CEI’s recent rebranding. This design incorporated a versatile page builder, allowing CEI’s non-technical staff to create new pages with any number of elements—lists of blog posts, featured publications, highlights of experts, or even video of media appearances.
ReadyMadeWeb also made sure CEI’s new site was setup to maximize potential social sharing. You never know when a publication or blog post might be shared. It could be when a reader is sitting at their desktop, ready to copy and paste links into their favorite Twitter client. It could also happen when a reader is having lunch with a colleague, attending a meeting, or watching a ballgame.
Regardless of time or place, sharing content from CEI.org is easy. From prominent frontend features like social sharing buttons and links to social profiles, to backend magic like proper Facebook Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags, sharing content created by CEI is easier than ever.
